ADMISSION PROCEDURE



Candidates who have passed 10+2 with Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry/Computer Science/Biology/Bio-tech from U.P. Board or its equivalent are eligible for admission to B.Tech Programs and candidate's who have passed graduation with Mathematics (in any optional form) at intermediate or Graduation level are eligible for MCA course. Admission is done through the entrance test conducted by U.P. Technical University for the state domicile seats. The allotment of college & branch is through 'Counseling'. Students achieving highest merit positions in the entrance examination are offered admission as per their first preferences of seat and college. The students lower in the merit get admission in lower order of preferences. Students willing to join IMSEC must indicate their choices for IMSEC in branches of their choices during counseling. Admission under Management Quota

15% seats of the total intake in each branch fall under this category. The admission under Management Quota will be made as per instructions of Government of U.P.

Direct Admission to Second Year (For Diploma Holder)

A maximum of 10% seats over & above the sanctioned intake in different B.Tech courses are available for the 3 yrs. Diploma holders and B.Sc. Degree holders as lateral entry to third semester. Such candidates are required to appear in the UPSEE examination in specified papers and admission will be made through UPSEE-Counseling.

Fee Structure

The fee is to be charged as per the notification of UPTU, Lucknow/ UP State Government. Fee structure is presently under revision and college will strictly follow UPTU/UP State Government guidelines in this regard.

All matters related to fee are the prerogative of UPTU/ UP state Government and applicability of all such changes shall be binding on the students.

Full fee is to be paid at the time of admission through a demand draft in favor of "IMS Engineering College" payable at Ghaziabad.

Payment of FEE once deposited is neither refundable nor adjustable under any circumstances whatsoever. Delay in fee shall have penalty as per IMS Society rules and regulations.

Hostel Fee (Optional)

Hostel shall be alloted on merit basis, subject to availability. The application for hostel should be submitted to the Accounts Office alongwith a Demand Draft of Rs. 1000/- in favor of "IMS Hostel" payable at Ghaziabad. This application fees (Rs 1000/-) will be adjusted in hostel fee if hostel is alloted or else it will be refunded.

Hostel Fee are as under:- (DD of Hostel fee shall be payable in the name of "IMS Hostel" at Ghaziabad)
