ADMISSION PROCEDURE


Admission Through UPSEE




B. Tech Candidates who have passed intermediate examination from U.P. Board or 10+2 level examination or its equivalent from any other recognized board, with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects; and anyone of Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Computer Science and Biology, are eligible for admission to B. Tech first year Program except for Bio-Technology branch. For admission to B. Tech. (Bio-Technology) branch, the eligibility criterion is Physics & Mathematics or Biology as Compulsory Subjects and anyone of Chemistry, Bio-Technology, Computer Science.

B. Tech (Lateral Entry in Second Year) A maximum of 10% seats over & above the sanctioned intake in different B.Tech courses are available for the 3 yrs. Diploma holders and B.Sc. Degree holders as lateral entry to third semester. Such candidates are required to appear in the UPSEE examination in specified papers and admission will be made through UPSEE-Counseling.

MCA Candidates who have passed graduation with Maths at (10+2) or graduation level are eligible for admission to MCA Programme. Admission is made through the entrance test conducted by Mahamaya Technical University, Noida.

MBA Candidates who have passed graduation in any stream are eligible for admission to MBA Programme. Admission is made through the entrance test conducted by Mahamaya Technical University, Noida.

M.Tech Candidates have to fill the online application form ofMahamaya Technical University, Noida. There after the college seat is allotted through counseling.

Eligibility:

(i) Candidates who have secured 60% marks at B.Tech level.

AND

(ii) 75 percentile in GATE or student must fall in the list of 25% top graduates at UPTU or student must have First division with honours..

OR
(iii) 60% marks at B.Tech level with two years experience of Teaching/Research/Industry.

 

Admission under Management Quota

15% seats of the total intake in each branch fall under this category. The admission under Management Quota will be made as per instructions of Government of U.P. For admission query email at enquiry@imsec.ac.in or SMS "IMSEC" to 56767.

Fee Structure

The fee is to be charged as per the notification of UPTU, Lucknow/ UP State Government. Fee structure is presently under revision and college will strictly follow UPTU/UP State Government guidelines in this regard.

All matters related to fee are the prerogative of UPTU/ UP state Government and applicability of all such changes shall be binding on the students.

Full fee is to be paid at the time of admission through a demand draft in favor of "IMS Engineering College" payable at New Delhi.

Payment of FEE once deposited is neither refundable nor adjustable under any circumstances whatsoever. Delay in fee shall have penalty as per IMS Society rules and regulations.

Hostel Fee (Optional)

Hostel shall be alloted on merit basis, subject to availability.
