IMSEC has been awarded UPTU (Currently GBTU) Academic Excellence Award - 2010 .




IMSEC has been awarded the coveted certificate for NAAC Accreditation, given for maintaining world
class quality in education and infrastructure.

IMSEC is accredited by TCS (Tata Consultancy Services) for its Placement and Project activities.

IMSEC is an ISO 9001:2008 certified institution.

• M.Tech classes in EC and BT branches commenced from 2010. M.Tech in CS and ME is proposed from comming
session.

• B.Tech -Second Shift classes in EC and CS also commenced successfully from 2010.

• Vivechan (International Journal of Research) is published by IMSEC.

• We are also the Organization Members of the Institution of Communication Engineers and Information
Technologists(ICEIT).

• IMSEC has subscribed online E-journal from Springer Link (520 journals for all branches) & Science Direct.

• IMSEC has become the center of IEEE with 35 members from different branches.

•IMSEC has develop a unique portal on its website through which the parnets (and students) can watch their subject
wise and date-wise attendance and performance .This lets the parnets check the actual status directly. The Attendance
Monitoring System of IMSEC has been appreciated by Vice Chancellor GBTU and Chief Secy Govt of UP.

•IMSEC has been rated as No.1 among all private engineering colleges in Uttar Pradesh and No.3 among all
technical institutions in Uttar Pradesh, including IIT-Kanpur in a national survey conducted by CSR-GHRDC.
The overall position on all India basis is 23rd among engineering colleges of excellence and 33rd among all colleges
in India.

• Mr Akash Bhutani (B. Tech.-IT 2009 batch) has secured the First Rank and a gold medal for his outstanding
performance in CSE/IT/ MCA Group of UPTU Examination. Besides, Jaimini Kaul and Arvind Kumar Rajpoot also
brought glory to IMSEC by securing 3rd and 8th rank respectively.

• 6th Pay Commission recommendations have been implemented in IMSEC. IMSEC was the first in the region to
implement the same.

• ‘Robocon’ is the largest robotics event conducted in Asia-Pacific region every year. National Robotic Contest
(Robocon Championship-2010) was held at MIT, Pune from March 4-6, 2010 in which a team of 11 Students
participated from our college. IMSEC was the first college from UPTU to participate in Robocon. IMSEC and
IIT, Kanpur were the only colleges from Uttar Pradesh to participate in this event.

• The Career Development Centre (CDC), working for training and placements, has been thoroughly and beautifully
renovated for providing basic infrastructure and increasing its effectiveness. It has now taken reactivated activities under
training (VAP, PDP and specialized programs), incubation centre, entrepreneurship and placement under its wings.

• A large number of front ranking multinational and Indian companies including IBM, TCS, Infosys, Satyam, Wipro,
Accenture, Videocon, HDFC, Cryobanks International, TBH, Perot Systems etc. have selected more than 450 students
of IMSEC who were provided opportunities for campus selection in the current session.



• IMSEC has been awarded the title of ‘The Best Engineering College’ for the year 2009 by The Ghaziabad
Management Association.
